How do I know if it’s transmission fluid leaking, or something else?
Transmission fluid is typically reddish or brownish and has a slightly sweet smell, unlike engine oil or coolant. If you’re not sure what’s dripping, bring it in — we’ll identify it for free.
Can a fluid service fix a shifting problem?
Sometimes, especially if the fluid is old, low, or contaminated. It won’t fix a mechanical or electronic component failure, which is why we diagnose before recommending either path.
Will transmission work here affect my factory warranty?
